Welcome to HomeCare Direct Wales: The Home of Personalisation

Croeso — and welcome to the HomeCare Direct Wales news centre.
If you're new to us, here's what we're about in one sentence: you choose who supports you, and we make it work.
HomeCare Direct Wales provides personalised, nurse-led home care for people living with complex needs across Wales — including complex learning disabilities, complex autism, and associated support requirements. We're a CIW Registered Provider, which means we're independently regulated and inspected against national standards for care in Wales.
What makes us different
Most home care starts with a rota and fits you into it. We start with you.
Through The HCD Model, you choose the people you want on your support team — a family member, a friend, someone you already know and trust. We employ them directly on a permanent contract, train them to CIW standards for your specific needs, and provide nurse-led clinical oversight throughout.
The result: support from people who already know you, backed by the structure, training, and accountability of a regulated provider. Your choice, your home, your team.
Who we support
We specialise in supporting younger adults with complex needs who require consistent, often round-the-clock support — the kind of packages where continuity and trust matter most. Many of our clients' packages are funded through NHS Continuing Healthcare, Personal Health Budgets, or Direct Payments, and we work alongside families, social workers, and health board teams to make personalised support straightforward.
